The city you choose in the Wafid booking form is the examination location context; it is separate from your nationality and the GCC destination country. The official FAQ says a medical centre is generally assigned according to the selected city and country, while the current booking page describes extra centre and date flexibility for Premium appointments where available. Check the live form for your country and city before paying.
Separate the three location fields
- Nationality: the applicant’s nationality.
- Examination country and city: where the medical will take place.
- Destination country: where the applicant intends to work or reside.
Selecting Pakistan as the examination country does not mean Pakistan is the destination country. Enter the GCC destination exactly as shown in the employer or visa instructions.
How to check the directory
The official Wafid FAQ directs applicants to the Medical Centers list, where a country, city or centre name can be used to view listed centre details. Open the official directory at Official Wafid information and compare:
- Centre name and spelling.
- Country and city.
- Address and contact details.
- Whether the location matches the issued slip.
A directory listing helps you verify identity and location. It does not guarantee an open slot, a particular result, employer acceptance or that an independent website is affiliated with the centre.
Standard and Premium options
The current official booking page displays Standard and Premium types. Standard is described as a basic appointment based on availability. Premium is described as providing more control over a preferred centre and date where available. The official FAQ also contains the general automatic-assignment statement. Therefore, centre choice depends on the appointment type and live availability; it is not a universal promise.

After the slip is issued
Compare the centre on the slip with the official directory. If the name or address looks different, contact the assigned centre through a verified number and ask for clarification before travelling. Do not select a different centre from a map and assume it can examine you.
If you want a different city after a slip is generated, the official FAQ currently says city change is possible after the current appointment slip expires, after which a new slip can be generated with the desired city. Check the live rule and do not create a duplicate appointment while the first one is active.
